License · in plain words
Yours is yours
Two parts. The documentation, the starters and this website are public and free. And whatever you build with dhtml is yours: an app is a folder plus a database, both belong to you, and you can license what you build as you like.
§ 01 · Public and free
Docs, starters, website
- The documentation is the full specification of the language. Anyone can read it, and the agent files and the skill hand it to your AI assistant as plain text.
- The starters are LaunchBlog, LaunchSaaS and the examples. They are MIT-licensed: take them, change them, ship them, sell what you make from them. Download one and upload it to your site. Built
- This website is free to read, with no cookies, no analytics and no requests to other sites.
§ 02 · Your apps
What you build is yours
The pages, layouts, partials, actions, migrations, styles, scripts, content and configuration you write, and the data your app stores, belong to you. License them as you like: proprietary, MIT, GPL, anything.
§ 03 · The service
dhtml.net
dhtml runs on dhtml.net. The terms of the service are published there before the hosted beta opens in January 2027.
